To decrease the risk of injury, increase accuracy in tasks, and enhance their peak performance.
To improve the longevity of your dog and keep them fit and mentally stimulated.
You can start as early as 9-10 weeks of age. To help them learn how to use their body in safe, controlled and low-impact conditions at first.
I know exactly what it feels like not knowing where to start, what to do and how to do it correctly.
Worrying about whether you’re overloading or skipping something.
Being afraid that you’ll do something wrong and harm your loyal buddy.
After all, dogs are athletes.
And we all want happy, long, active and healthy lives for them, right?
When I was still a veterinary student, I struggled a lot with finding good educational content on how to help my sweet puppy Genie after she broke her tibia in an accident she had at 10 weeks.
I still remember the heartbreaking look of those big sad puppy eyes.
My biggest concern was whether she’d ever be able to be normally active again. I had no idea how to prevent her from future compensatory issues.
And above all …
How to enable her to grow up into the healthy, active, and wild adult she was intended to be.
Now I was on a mission.
I dug deeper and deeper into the field of canine conditioning and rehabilitation.
It sort of became my passion, guiding me forward to the canine rehabilitation field also after my veterinary graduation.
And I found out something extraordinary.
See …
The majority of dog owners and trainers focus way too little on the strengthening aspect of training, which is why they never achieve their dog’s full potential.
Be it reaching their top sporting performance, or just enjoying active life with their furry companions to the fullest, and for as long as possible.
I decided to change that.
A step-by-step on-line canine conditioning course for improving your dog’s physical and mental abilities in a safe, efficient and FUN way.
It’s complete, ready to use, balanced, well-structured and easy to understand.
And best of all, you can do it whenever you want, wherever you want.
From the comfort of your home or even when wandering around on your daily walk in the nature.
You don’t need an expensive training menu or sophisticated equipment.
Any old piece of furniture or an object from environment will do.
You will discover the beauty of dog anatomy, body structure, correct positions and all the muscles that are involved in the exercises.
I work with many canine athletes on a daily basis.
With participants in World Agility Championships and other big international events, as well as active pet dogs.
I have been an active trainer and competitor in several dog sports with my own dogs (yes, including Genie) for the past 16 years.
All of this has helped me to better understand their needs and just how important it is that they are well mentally prepared and in excellent physical shape.
I am excited and proud to share this knowledge with you!
Here’s my big promise:
In as little as 10 minutes per day you’ll be able to maximise your dog’s physical and mental abilities and reduce the risk of injuries at the same time.
So far I’ve been able to help 1901+ participants from 6 different continents all around the globe.
Get started with your dogs today, because they are worth it!
Jana Gams, DVM, CCRP
The majority of dogs struggle to control their hind legs.
Proprioceptive exercises are a perfect way to improve this much needed skill in sports performances, as well as in everyday life.
This cannot be easily gained during regular daily walks only.
By improving his body awareness he’ll know exactly where his feet are during a particular task or position, which will lead to improved accuracy in tasks.
Be it full speed running over a dogwalk in agility, or just getting to wander through the woods without stumbling or misstepping.
There is nothing more dangerous than having a “weekend warrior”, who gets to be highly active only from time to time!
The course will not only contribute to immediate enhanced performance in tasks, but will also help to improve and maintain the dog’s physical condition over break periods.
These put your dog at greater risk of injury after returning to sports or normal life.
For example a pause from training, having fewer training opportunities due to bad weather conditions, bitches after a litter … Or when you are dealing with certain conditions (past injuries; dogs with chronic degenerative joint diseases etc.).
Fatigued dogs can no longer perform the exercise efficiently, and are put at serious risk for getting injured.
Fatigue usually occurs when we are physically active with our dogs or when they have to maintain strong focus over a longer period of time.
Better overall physical strength and endurance will contribute greatly to the mental development of your dog, boost his confidence and build up your relationship of trust.
Your dog will be able to perform better, maintain focus throughout your shared activities for longer and enjoy them even more.
Having a weaker body part negatively affects balance in the body, making it predisposed to further damage, and also overloads the spine.
This happens due to structural deficits, the effects of unilateral work in particular dog sports, past injuries or chronic compensatory issues.
You’ll work on improving the symmetry of your dog’s body and his active range of motion.
This will contribute to improved flexibility of joints, soft tissues and spine. Whole-body strength and symmetry will return. The performance abilities will increase by providing better flexion, extension and rotation movement of individual body parts.
Flexibility is the key to stability!
6 complete training-week schedules with 18 structured workouts, training tips, and planned regeneration days for guaranteed success: ready for you to take them on!
Moreover, they can be completed at several difficulty levels, so you will never run out of ideas on how to continue and progress!
All of this makes this day-by-day conditioning programme accessible, easy to complete on a daily basis and the one to shape into your dog’s very own fitness plan – for the best strengthening outcome and benefits!
We always strive to further upgrade our course. Thus we cannot promise you this amazing offer isn’t going away. If one of the links below still work then you’re good to go.

The program is designed to suit all age stages of dogs: puppies/young dogs, adults – sporting, working or family dogs, as well as for our oldies goldies who could benefit from some extra proprioception work!
However, when dealing with a specific condition (joint pain, past injuries, etc.), make sure you have your dog regularly checked by a specialist who can keep an eye on his well-being, or apply for our 1-on-1 personal consultations for a further follow-up on your case!
There isn’t. You can start with a puppy (of course the basics only) and then slowly progress. It is important though that you follow the recommendations on how to adapt exercises for a certain age of pups. Everything is nicely explained within the course.
The basics are great to start with a puppy/young dog, to get them used to reward based training and working with food, as well as getting used to different kinds of objects, platforms and materials.
Then, slowly progressing to mastering the exercises. However, for serious workouts included in this class are better to wait a little longer. But we believe working on separate exercise is great for younger dogs to start with!
The only preknowledge needed is that the pup understands the principle of learning, being rewarded etc., and is therefore suitable for pups after age 9-10 weeks.
Exercises are great for puppies and young dogs to learn how to use their body in safe, controlled and low-impact conditions. Dog fitness is also great way for building a strong bond with your dog and to just have fun.
Beacuse you get to keep access to whole course material for lifetime, you can first spend weeks and months on teaching the foundation behaviours, and actually move to the workouts when ready, without having to worry the course will “end” before our pup is old enough for it.
The difference is in the AMOUNT of repetitions, and equipment SET UPS, so you will be impressed by how you can make the same exercise as easy as possible, as well as super difficult for top athletes!
All this is included in the class, so an extra benefit if you own several dogs with different needs!
Not just Border Collies. From Poodles to German Shepherds. You name it. All breeds are welcome here. We love all of them . Dog fitness even helps breeds with longer backs.
Sure thing. Some of the very basics can be started with puppies already – getting used to different materials and most importantly reward based training (taking the food from your hands etc).
Yes, the program is suitable also for dogs with long spine – using low equipment/platforms totally does the trick, and the fact that we are working with the dog in front of us! Core strength is super important in long back dogs.
The program is made by Jana Gams, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. So, yes.
No special equipment required! A simple do-it-yourself platform or foam pad will suffice. Even though it is good to have some basic fitness equipment (or more, if you want to add in some difficulty), it’s not necessary to have it when signing up for the class – you can always use some stuff from your house inventory!
If you want to purchase anything, a simple balance mat will do and the rest you can really improvise.
No, you or your dog can be complete beginners and be able to follow the course, because it contains all the foundations needed to get safely and effectively into the world of canine conditioning!
If your dog is used to reward based training (more of taking food from your hand) you are good to go! They will learn absolutely everything through the course – we start with true basics and build on from strong foundations.
Experienced handlers (or dogs) will be sufficiently challenged to keep them occupied as well.
The FUNdamentals is made for properly strengthening the whole body of the dog equally, explained nicely with step-by-step explanation and video.
Of course! FUNdamentals can be very benefitial for doing obedience and / or rescue work with your dogs.
Definitely yes, because strengthening the musculature around weaker hips is much needed to improve muscular support to the hips. In the same time, we are focusing on strengthening the core, which helps the dog to move in a much more balanced and effective way!
The instructor is fully qualified in canine rehabilitation. All of the exercises in the course also have special considerations noted on how to safely apply the easiest variation of the exercises depending on the case.
Each exercise presented includes special considerations on how to adapt the exercise to have best strengthening effect in case of compromised dogs (such as mild hip dysplasia!), plus you have every option to further request Jana’a feedback to be really sure you’re doing exercises correctly, so you are definitely welcome to join in.
Choosing a personal feedback option along with the Fundamentals course will also help you insure you are performing exercises correctly for your dog adapted individually to his condition and current abilities.
If you are unsure whether the course is suitable for your individual case, don’t hesitate to contact us on info@dogs4motion.com!
FUNdamentals is fantastic for building muscle with older dogs, even when they have certain problem.
However, if your dog has several issues already, we do recommend you to first reach over for individual remote consults with Jana to thoroughly discuss your dog’s case, and start with easy strengthening exercises individually prescribed depending on your dog’s current abilities. Wish to know more about it, welcome to discuss it further via info@dogs4motion.com.
Yes, strengthening the musculature around such weaker joints is of greatest importance, because it helps to improve stability and adds the well needed support to the joints.
We are also focusing on core strengthening, that is super needed for balanced and effective movement throughout the body.
We have quite some dogs with lower back issues joined the course and benefitted from it greatly – but it is important to follow special considerations listed for each exercise on how to perform the exercise safely for dogs with such issues (for example choosing the right set up in order not to overload this part of the body, etc).
It is also advised to opt for our personal feedback option to really make sure the form of each exercise is correct for maximum safety and efficacy for your dog’s case!
FUNdamentals is suitable for dogs with HD – in fact, there is guideliness thoughout the class for dogs with hip dysplasia, to make the exercises as safe as possible.
But knowing you have a compromised dog makes it even more important to perform exercises in a correct way and at the level of your dog’s abilities – and for that it is recommended to additionally check your performance of exercises through personal feedback from our Jana, to achieve maximum safety and efficacy for your dog’s case.

In FUNdamentals owners are working also on improving the symmetry of their dog’s body and his active range of motion.
Having a weaker body part negatively affects balance in the body, unfortunately making it predisposed to further damage, and also overloads the spine. This happens due to structural deficits, the effects of unilateral work in particular dog sports, past injuries or chronic compensantoy issues.
We are inviting you to try it. Our Brie and Genie are giving you 30-days money back Guarantee. If you do not feel FUNdamentals is right for you and your dogs, we will refund you every euro – no question asked.
This course is designed as SELF-STUDY program. But don’t worry! You can upgrade and additionally purchase a 1-on-1 personal feedback about your work with Jana!
Yes! You keep life time access to the FUNdamentals course. That means you can restart it, refresh your knowledge and start with other dogs anytime in the future.
Right now one of our happy students already finished 4th round of 6 workout weeks. She said that her dog is SUPER powerful and muscular, and she feels safer doing agility and loves the feeling to do absolute the most she can for her dog.
After one month. Example: if you buy at 16th of July, the next payment is at 16th of August.
This program is much better with food – because it requires precision and repetition with exercises that is hard to get with a toy reward.
Does he eat his daily meals? Switch from the bowl and use it for training instead!
It is a certificate of completion after finishing the course. The course is made for owners, trainers, not dog profesionals, even if it is used by many of them.
The access is lifetime and the content platform is very easily reachable and very simple to use. PDFs are downloadable.
Not at the moment, but there are English subtitles. We intend to translate the subtitles into other languages as well so make sure to follow us.
Of course! We offer 1-on-1 consultations. You can read more about them here >>
And then you you can book your appointment on info@dogs4motion.com
