❌ Your dog is missing critical cues. Like a GPS system, your dog needs clear instructions about what to do next. Should they slow down, prepare for a turn and watch your handling, or search for an obstacle ahead? Without these cues, your dog is left guessing, at risk of making a mistake that costs you time – or even elimination.
❌ Your dog may be using the tunnel as an escape. When overwhelmed, some dogs run to the tunnel to hide from the challenge. It’s not disobedience – it’s a sign they might be confused or unsure about what to do next, and it’s frustrating to feel disconnected from your dog when it matters most.
❌ Your dog is missing the optimal line after the tunnel. Without proper cues and timing, your dog struggles to keep the best path, leading to slower times and missed opportunities for clean runs.
❌ You’re unsure how to handle tunnel discriminations effectively. Whether your dog is too wild or too insecure, you’re left guessing how to lead them on course. This lack of confidence in your handling can lead to self-doubt and setbacks.
❌ You’re not providing the right “speed signs” to guide your dog. Just like traffic signs, your handling and cues tell your dog when to reduce speed, prepare for direction changes, or run full speed ahead. Without this communication, you’re left feeling out of control, struggling to guide your dog effectively.
❌ You’re leaving agility performance to complete chance. Agility always has an element of unpredictability. But without a reliable handling system and listening skills, you’re more likely to miss clean runs, fall out of sync with your dog, and lose valuable time on course.
Despite the increasing competition, I competed at the European Open and World Championships with three dogs of different breeds!
To top it all off, multiple times, I have reached the podium on the biggest international events – including The Border Classics Finals! 🥇
With more than 15 years of agility training and competition experience, I’ve seen firsthand how tunnel traps and unclear cues can make or break a run.
So, I started treating tunnel handling with the same seriousness as any other critical part of agility training, like obstacle sequencing and conditioning.
Tunnels became more than just an easy “fly-through” – they became a place to take charge, sharpen control or build confidence, and have a good time with my dog.
And I’m not alone in this approach.
In training hundreds of students, I’ve noticed many handlers struggle with either overly fast dogs that can’t stay focused or insecure dogs that slow down or escape into tunnels when they’re unsure.
I’ve worked with agility dogs of all breeds and temperaments, from the high-energy, speed-driven ones to those that need confidence boosts.
Here’s the bottom line: tunnel handling isn’t something you can afford to overlook.
It’s the key to improving your overall performance, keeping your dog on the right line, and mastering the agility course with precision and optimal speed.
Whether your dog is too fast to control or too insecure to perform, the right system can make all the difference for you.
✅ Gain confidence and control over your dog’s tunnel navigation, ensuring they stay focused, maintain speed, and follow the perfect line through the course – removing the stress of unpredictable behaviors and the anxiety of watching them hesitate or run off course.
✅ Become consistent with your handling choices, eliminating the fear of feeling unsure during the course walk. With a clear system, you’ll make confident course strategy decisions and smoothly guide your dog through the course.
✅ Sharpen your dog’s listening skills so they react instantly to your cues, knowing exactly what’s about to come next – giving you peace of mind and clarity on the course.
✅ Help your dog overcome the tricky tunnel traps, while staying connected with you even in high-pressure situations or challenging discriminations.
✅ Tailor your handling to your dog’s unique personality, whether they’re too wild or lack confidence. You’ll feel empowered knowing that your system is custom-made and designed specifically for your dog.
✅ Strengthen the bond between you and your dog, building trust, understanding, and a partnership that makes training and competition fun again.
✅ Bring clarity, precision, and speed to your runs, helping you achieve flawless performances and consistent success – reducing the self-doubt and disappointment of missed opportunities.

Before diving into tunnel sequences, it’s crucial to understand your dog’s unique drive, personality, and motivation. Whether they are speed-driven or need a confidence boost, this step will help you adjust your approach based on your dog’s needs.
In this phase, you’ll develop a handling system that’s customized to your dog’s personality and motivation. You’ll learn how to cue future directions in advance, guiding your dog through tunnel sequences with precision and speed.
This step focuses on sharpening your dog’s listening skills and reaction to verbal commands. You’ll train your dog to react confidently to your cues, ensuring they respond instantly before or after the tunnel.
You’ll enhance your handling awareness, timing and connection with your dog. This will allow you to maintain focus and control, keeping your dog on the correct line through each tunnel sequence.
Finally, you’ll take everything you’ve learned and apply it to a full course. Whether working on motivation, control, or connection, this step will help you achieve smoother, cleaner, and faster runs on the agility field.
“Thanks to Beata we participated in our first competition!”
I met Beata 3 years ago when I started my adventure with agility. Beza, my small mixbreed dog, requires a lot of work and patience. Thanks to Beata we participated in our first competition. She pays attention to details. She showed us how to train correctly and how to prepare a dog to avoid injuries.
Thanks to her online training I’ve learned how to explain the basics of agility to my puppy. Everything is easy-to-understand. The material is full of knowledge and important comments that are useful in training. I believe that Beata has great skills in transferring knowledge and will be able to help everyone, even if you are not an easy student – like me

This course is not suitable for puppy owners. Tunnel Vision course is designed for dogs that already have some foundational agility training. Tunnel Vision course is perfect for dogs that need a confidence boost. It is specifically designed to help dogs who hesitate or lack enthusiasm, turning tunnels into a fun, rewarding experience for them.
