Psoas power is the best

I have a girl who has always been just a little different in her left hip, even while showing conformation. While running agility, her chiropractor would always end up at the left hip/pelvis area. Since starting the Dogs 4 Motion courses, Carys is much stronger in the rear. The Psoas Power course has helped even more. Carys is running the best she has ever run. .

Karen & Force – USA

Active in retriever field trials

Force, a two-year-old black Lab, was diagnosed in late summer 2024 with iliopsoas tendinopathy (left: grade II/III, right: grade I/III) and left stifle inflammation, suggesting a CCL sprain. Though not lame, he struggled to run or swim straight, affecting his Retriever Field Trials training.
Our goal was to help Force recover and stay injury-free in his sport. A high-drive retriever, he moves at full speed with little regard for his body. Before starting Jana’s fitness program, he showed poor posture, with a butterfly sit and roached back.

Jana designed a structured program with five days of exercises, walking, and two rest days. Force also received daily laser therapy and PT evaluations. We met via Zoom to assess progress and adjust exercises. I sent videos to Jana for feedback in Force’s online classroom.

Within 12 weeks, his left iliopsoas and stifle fully recovered, impressing our sports medicine vet. His right iliopsoas took 24 weeks but also healed completely. Force is now cleared to return to retrieving, with a maintenance plan of three exercise days and endurance conditioning.

Initially devastated by his diagnosis, I now feel optimistic about his future in the sport. Jana’s expertise, customized exercises, and ongoing support were invaluable. The conditioning classes on Dogs4Motion Academy also provide clear guidance, making structured training easy to follow.

Eva & Yuma

Yuma (Malinois) injured her iliopsoas during IGP training. She’s high-energy and always gives 200%. 😊 After the injury, Dogs4Motion quickly diagnosed the issue, and we began therapy and exercises.

Strengthening her body was crucial for IGP, which demands heavy loads on the dog. Our training became a ritual we both enjoy, and even my younger pup, Bali, is starting to prepare for the future.

Working with Dogs4Motion gave me invaluable knowledge for training and injury prevention. Their online course is well-structured, guiding you from theory to practical exercises with clear demonstrations.

I highly recommend it to anyone active with their dog – injuries can be prevented, and early issues spotted before they become serious!

I started working with Jana almost 3 years ago and ever since, she has been an indispensable part of our training plan. She is always there for us – for conditioning plan and workout (her tips on how to get a specific move from your dog are priceless) or regular preventive check ups and massages.

Regardless of what your dogs needs are, Jana always adapts to their individual needs. She is kind and with an amazing feeling and desire to help dogs to be in best shape possible. She gives her heart into every single one of her animal clients and treats them as they were her own.

I’m grateful I have a chance to work with such a person as Jana is. And seeing how my dogs adores her, I’m quite certain they feel the same. Thank you Jana!

Keeping my dogs in top condition is really important to me – not only because that allows them to perform at their best, but also because that helps prevent injuries.

Dogs give their best every time they step on the training/competition field and doing my best to keep them healthy and physically prepared for all the challenges, is something I owe them as the owner and handler. And just because of that, Jana’s conditioning classes are a huge part of our training and warming up/cooling down routine.

All exercises are designed in a way to make it as safe for the dog as possible, she puts a lot of attention to details (which is REALLY important when we come to conditioning) and on top of that, Jana knows really well how to adapt to every individual dog and give them what they need the most (when you have breeds that are not really “social butterflies”, working with someone who understands dog’s character is really important).

So thank you Jana for your great classes and for all the “live” training and check-ups! It means a lot to me, to have someone so skilled watching over my dogs!«
